Every year our charity thanks the volunteer moms with a small gift and little fiesta to show our appreciation. Our charity couldn’t exist without their help.
Each year we proudly celebrate the founding of our charity November 9, 2005. In the past, we celebrated it with up to 100 kids in the breakfast program but now we enjoy it with the scholarship students and their families.
“Many congratulations on your ninth anniversary! Thanks for helping this community progress and making the kids happy. I hope that God fills you with many blessings, life and health.”
Each year we celebrate Christmas with a fiesta. For the first nine years, we celebrated with 150 children who attended our breakfast program. The fiesta consisted of games, piñatas, concerts, food and gift-giving.
Beginning last year, we now celebrate with scholarship students, their families and our beloved volunteers.
Each year, we distribute food hampers to our volunteer moms as a way of thanking them for all their hard work and commitment to our charity.
Christmas Food Drive
Hunger is a real problem in the outlying communities of La Paz. Our charity will continue to support families at Christmas by doing a drive to raise non-perishable items such as oil, sugar, beans, rice, juice, milk, oatmeal, coffee, canned tuna, mayonnaise, lentils, flour, soap, pasta, tomato sauce, bouillon cubes, cookies, toothpaste and brushes, toilet paper, and sanitary napkins, toys, school supplies and clothing.
